Glam Life Music:
Featured Artist of the Week Adrian Younge - UnRestricted with DJ Moonbaby
I was listening to UnRestricted with DJ Moonbaby on Accelerated Radio last night and she did an interview with composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Adrian Younge. Adrian has crafted a vintage sound for which he is known for his unique, nostalgic works based on late 1960s and early 1970s psychedelic soul.

Younge also operates the Artform Studio, a record store and salon that also sells vintage clothing and handmade jewelry located in Los Angeles, California. I posted a piece on my experience at the Artform Studio, take a look.

The Los Angeles, California-based producer has worked with Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah on Twelves Reasons To Die in April, as well as a self-titled album with 1970s Soul/R&B group The Delfonics a month earlier. He has been more recently recognized on Jay-Z's new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Jay- Z twice samples Adrian's music from his 2011 album Something About April. "Sirens" is used on the banger "Picasso Baby", while "Reverie" is used for "Heaven," featuring Justin Timberlake. To top it off, he is also working on a collaboration project with the Souls of Mischief.
